About Me

Mairi is a landscape and figurative artist - originally from Edinburgh - living in Spain since 2006.  She obtained a degree in textile design from the Scottish College of Textiles in 1983, and has exhibited textile art in the Ginger Gallery (Bristol, England), and in various restaurants and private collections in Edinburgh, Bristol, London, and Greece.

On arriving in Spain, Mairi was inspired to start painting in oils and acrylics.  She has had solo exhibitions in the Casa de Cultura (Dénia) and the Museu d’Art (Calpe), and has exhibited paintings in the Adsubian Gallery (L'Atzúbia).  Through being a member of ADAMA (Asociación de Artistas de La Marina Alta), she frequently participates in collective exhibitions throughout the region.  She has also enjoyed success in various fast painting competitions in Dénia.

Mairi welcomes commissions, working closely with her clients.  She ships paintings to Europe and the US.
